When is this helpful?
When you would like to perform an inspection for a company/department utilizing a specific checklist.
Step 1: Launch the GoAudits app and use your login address and password to log into the app. Click here for a guide on how to install the GoAudits app on mobile devices.
Step 2: Click on the menu button and select Home
The home screen will display your list of company/department folders. Within each folder will be the checklists you have added to be used for inspections.
Step 3: Click on the Company Folder of your choice, then click on the checklist you want to use for the inspection. Select your location, and then click Start.
You will be taken to the checklist questions to complete and generate a report at the end.
Below is a sample of a checklist being completed on a mobile device.
Assign an Action Plan Task
In the below question, the action plan is set to trigger when the question is answered 'No'.
When answered 'No', the Action plan button pops up on the right side of the question.
Click on the Action Plan notebook button. Fill in the Follow-up Notes with the actions required. Assign to a person, select the priority and due date and click Save.
To enter comments, click on the icon to the right of the camera. Enter comments and click Save. The comments saved will be displayed under the question.
Add a Photo
To add a photo, click on the camera on the right side of the screen. Select a photo from your gallery or take it with the camera. The photo will be displayed under the question.
Add Highlights/Summary & Electronic Signature
At the end of the form, there will be a section where you may enter Highlights/Summary information that will be displayed on page one of the report.
You may provide an electronic signature by simply using your fingertip on your mobile screen.
View Report & Mark as Completed
Once you have completed the inspection you will be able to View Report and/or Mark Completed.
When you click on mark as completed, you will be presented with a window that allows you to add a custom email or send it to the email distribution list preconfigured in the admin portal.
Once the report has been marked as completed and emailed, each recipient will receive a PDF copy of the report. If action plans were created the Action Plan Assignee(s) will receive their assigned tasks via email.
